Man United are leading the race to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Antoine Semenyo

Antoine Semenyo is emerging as one of the most wanted names ahead of the January transfer window, with the Bournemouth striker reportedly keen on a move to Manchester United.
According to journalist Miguel Delaney, the 25-year-old Ghanaian has made Man United his preferred destination amid growing interest from several Premier League clubs.
Semenyo’s rise to Bournemouth has been one of the stories of the season. Since establishing himself as a key figure at the Vitality Stadium, he has impressed with his goal-scoring quality and pace in attacking areas.
The striker scored his latest Premier League goal against Man United at Old Trafford in a 4-4 draw.
Having scored seven goals this season, Semenyo has become a player who is playing wonders in the top teams in the Premier League including Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

However, the player is keen on a move to Old Trafford to be part of an attack that boasts the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko, all United signings last summer.
Comfortable operating on either wing or in midfield, Semenyo has become a key part of Bournemouth’s attack, attracting the attention of clubs at the top end of the table.
United are believed to be very confident of their chances, especially given the player’s desire to move to Old Trafford.
What is important in this matter is the status of Semenyo’s contract. The striker has a £65 million release clause which takes effect from 1 January, allowing interested clubs to bypass lengthy negotiations with Bournemouth.
While that figure represents a huge profit, it is seen in the market as a fair price for a proven Premier League striker entering his prime.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, know that once the clause is activated, they will have no control over the outcome.
Semenyo will be the right signing for the Red Devils

From United’s perspective, Semenyo fits several of the club’s recruitment priorities. Under Ruben Amorim, United are looking to inject more energy, intensity, and direction into their attack.
His ability to press hard, handle the ball with speed, and contribute defensively make him an attractive option in a system that needs high-powered wide players.
Man United will be ready to move quickly if rival clubs make their interest official in January.
Although no formal bid has yet been made, there is growing belief at the club that they can position themselves strongly if a bidding war breaks out.
Semenyo’s willingness to join United could be decisive in a tight race.
