Team Canada announced its roster on Wednesday, December 31, and the goalkeepers who went to the Four Nations Faceoff are the three players who will go to the Olympics. Besides Jordan Binington, who netted for Canada in the Four Nations, the other two-goal scorers were Logan Thompson and Darcy Kuemper.

Jim Biringer: “I think Jordan Binington will be starting the first game. That doesn’t mean he’s going to finish the championship. We’ve seen it. How many times now. This is a team that Canada plans to bring some serious damage. Jordan Binington was always going to be on the team for St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong becoming GM of Team Canada. But that being said, who says you need to play every game? The goal is to win, and you struggle. You can go to Thompson or Kuemper.
