Dave McCarthy: Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand left last night’s game after the second half with an undisclosed injury.

NHL Injuries: Ducks, Panthers, Kings, Rangers, Islanders, Leafs, Capitals, and more
NHL rumor mill: David Pagnotta on Hello Hockey on Florida Panthers Aleksander Barkov: “I think there’s a little bit of hope that he might come back sooner than originally expected, but I still get the sense that it’s time to play, and we’ll kind of see where they go.”
- NHL rumor mill: Pagnotta to Barkov: “The timeline for him to come back, it’s right around the Conference Final; talking to other people…the timeline is still playoffs, but it could be moved up to before…the Conference Finals.”
Jameson Olive: Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk practiced in a regular jersey.
- Jameson Olive: Panthers coach Paul Maurice on Tkachuk: “We’re not in full contact with him. … The next box to check is he has to be able to lean in, push himself, recover for a day or so, see how he gets back on the ice.”
Priyanta Emrith: Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine was skating yesterday morning, but GM Kent Hughes said he is not ahead of schedule and on the same original timeline.
Stephen Rosner: New York Islanders forward Bo Horvat (bottom) walks with the team.

- Vince Z. Mercogliano: “It caught my eye when Fox didn’t come out of the first OT shift, but I didn’t think too much of it. His last shift was 59 seconds into regulation but I can’t say I saw anything injury related. A startling turn of events for #NYR.”
Dan Arritt: Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Jamie Drysdale left in the second half after colliding with Ross Johnston, who was given a major penalty and a game misconduct for interference. Nick Barden: Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz (upper-body) returned to the ice yesterday. Coach Craig Berube said Stlarz is improving, but there is still a long way to go.
