The 2026 Australian Open runs from 18 January to 1 February.

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam tournament of the year and is set to host the world’s best players for two weeks. Among those playing will be number 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings Carlos Alcaraz, defending champion Jannik Sinner, 10th seed Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev.

When is the Australian Open?

The 2026 Australian Open will be held from 18 January – 1 February. The Grand Slam hard court tournament, founded in 1905, will be held at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The tournament director is Craig Tiley.

Who plays in the Australian Open?

Alcaraz, Sinner, Zverev, Djokovic, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Lorenzo Musetti, Ben Shelton, home favorite Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz and Alexander Bublik will compete at the Australian Open.

When is the Australian Open draw?

The Australian Open singles draw will be held on Thursday, 15 January at 2:30 pm AEDT. The draw for two players will be made on site on Saturday, January 17 at 3 pm
