WILSON GOLF INTRODUCES NEW DYNAPWR STRENGTH IRON – Golf News

Wilson Golf has officially launched a new DYNAPWR A forged steelgolfer’s range model created using advanced AI technology and aimed at golfers who want a blend of distance, control and fake feel.

Part of the revitalized DYNAPWR franchise, the new iron is designed to appeal to aspiring and competitive players looking for modern ball speed and forgiveness without sacrificing the compact look and response typically associated with forged irons.

AI-driven facial technology delivers speed and consistency

At the heart of the DYNAPWR Forged iron is Wilson’s Adaptive face technology generated by AIpaired with the product’s PKR-CUP face design. Crafted from Forged 8620 Carbon Steel, the faces fold into one to create a smaller, more responsive hinge area, which is more efficient for low-face strikes.

According to Wilson, this construction increases ball speed and launch while also improving consistency throughout the hitting surface.

By moving the welding line away from the strike area, engineers were able to tune the performance of the face, reduce manufacturing variation and improve forgiveness throughout the set.

Refined feel and acoustics with forged construction

Wilson ditched the power vents seen in the previous generation and instead created a thicker face using AI simulation to improve flexibility and energy transfer at impact.

The result is increased distance without compromising the control and precision that better players want.

The cavity back design is full TE-031 Urethane in irons 3 through 9, which helps dampen vibrations and produce a smoother, more refined sound and feel.

This internal damping is designed to deliver a soft response while maintaining ball speed and stability.

Wilson DYNAPWR Mirror Forged Polished Finish

Premium looks very modern

Visually, the DYNAPWR Forged iron features a compact, player-inspired profile with a mirror polished finish at address.

Despite its sleek appearance, Wilson says the iron benefits from a high MOI design and a strategically lowered center of gravity to promote superior launch, improved forgiveness and reliable stopping power on the green.

“The new iron is a statement of Wilson’s dedication to innovation and cutting edge,” said Ben Hanser, CAD engineer at Wilson Golf.

“By combining integrated precision with AI-driven design, we’ve created an instrument that delivers distance, control and a sense of perfect harmony.”

The DYNAPWR Forged iron joins the extensive DYNAPWR range, which includes the DYNAPWR Max – the longest and most forgiving model in the family – aimed at golfers who prioritize maximum confidence and consistency.
