Manchester United and Liverpool may have received a big boost as it looks like Yan Diomande is no longer a target for Bayern Munich due to his high cost.

In a potentially major development in the saga, Christian Falk played down Diomande’s links to Bayern in his latest exclusive CF Bayern Insider column.
Despite Diomande’s quality, it seems that Bayern are forced to consider other options in front of him due to the possible cost of the deal with RB Leipzig.
“IT’S FACT: Yan Diomande is no longer a priority for Bayern’s management,” said Falk.
“Obviously he has a high level and is playing very well in the Bundesliga this season.” Therefore, he is not out of the list because he is a poor player, but because he is very good and very expensive!
“Bayern knows how much RB Leipzig wants in transfer money (negotiations will start on. €100m [£86.2m]) and more! Certainly more than Bayern are willing to pay at the moment.
“And the truth is that they have Luis Diaz, who is a big man on the left side.
“So, it’s difficult for Bayern Munich, considering that they like the player, but they won’t be involved in poker with Premier League clubs. He’s too expensive.”
Yan Diomande’s transfer options as Bayern cool interest
Fabrizio Romano recently linked Diomande to Manchester United in a report on his YouTube channel, so that could be another rumor to watch out for.
“What I can say is that it does not mean that Man Utd will sign Yan Diomande, but it shows that Man Utd maintains the player’s interest,” said Romano.
