8AM Golf – a golf management company in Scottsdale, Ariz. which has more than a dozen golf-related brands in its portfolio, including GOLF.com, Miura and True Spec – announced Wednesday that it has acquired a significant stake in the leading footwear brand PAYNTR Golf.
PAYNTR launched its first footwear in 2021 and is among the fastest growing footwear brands in the sport. On the PGA Tour, PAYNTR shoes are worn by Jason Day (part of Equity), Min Woo Lee, Sam Burns and Isaiah Salinda. Justin Rose won his 13th PGA Tour title at the Farmers Insurance Open last week wearing PAYNTRs, and is among the PGA Tour, LPGA and PGA Tour Champions players who wear PAYNTRs by choice.

Each PAYNTR shoe features a Cutting-Edge plate to help golfers use lower reaction forces to deliver speed and power to the ball during the downswing. The company was co-founded by Mike Forsey and Michael Glancy, who have combined more than 50 years of experience in the golf shoe business, working at Nike, Reebok, Under Armor and FootJoy.
