Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lojan has taken a fresh swipe at club legend Jamie Carragher, following the pundit’s controversial comments about Mohamed Salah earlier this week.
Carragher sparked backlash on Monday last Monday after launching into an eight-minute criticism of Salah after his explosive interview following a draw vs leeds United.
Many fans felt that the criticism crossed the line, accusing the former living defender of pursuing a personal vendetta rather than offering a balanced examination.
Among several claims, Carragher suggested that Salah “threw back his rights under the bus” during his time at Anfield, suggesting that the Walchies winger failed to follow up defensively.
The comments quickly went viral, with Liverpool supporters slamming Carragher for trying to rewrite history and salah’s huge impact on the club’s success.
Dejan Lonren aims to take a dig at Jamie Carragher in support of Salah
Dejan Lonren, who shared Liverpool’s dressing room with mo salah for years and remains one of his closest friends, emerged as one of the most Egyptian defenders amid the ongoing controversy.
The former Croatia international has repeatedly taken to social media in the past week to defend Salah’s fierce defense.
And he was at it again on Monday, as he threw subtle shade at Carragher with his crazy comments.
Salaw recently broke the Premier League record after providing the assist for Hugo Ekitike in Liverpool’s clash against Brighton.
The contribution saw Sala become the player with the most goals and helped one club in the history of the Premier League, registering an amazing goal contribution 277 red.
After Salah posted the Milestone Graphic on Social Media, LovReen took it back to X with a scathing caption clearly aimed at Carrager: “Not good enough Mo. You need to cover your full back.”

Dejan Lonren and the friendship of mohamed sala
The bond between LOVen and Sala extends beyond their time together at Liverpool.
During their years at Anfield, the two players developed a close relationship, often referring to each other as brothers and often spending time together and meeting each other.
Love has previously spoken about Sala’s humility, expertise and good work ethic, often going back to throwing forwards as selfish or unwilling to contribute defensively.
Even after leaving Liverpool, Lobn continued to sponsor publicly, defending him against criticism from pundits, rival fans and now even fellow players.
During Salah’s contract last season, Croatia demanded that the club pay Salah whatever he asked for because he ‘deserved it’
Their friendship comes out when it’s difficult in a difficult time, with LOVNER there is always a salah standing up when they hear that an Egyptian is unfairly targeted.
This latest sarcastic post is just another example of the loyalty never getting old, underscoring how strong their relationship is after their Liverpool careers ended.
