The second round of the 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii begins Friday afternoon at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Friday, including full Sony Open TV coverage, broadcast details and Round 2 tee times.
How to watch the Sony Open on Friday
We’re one round into the Sony Open, and there are some familiar faces atop the leaderboard. Defending champion Nick Taylor shot a bogey-free 62 on Thursday in Hawaii to move to eight under. That puts him in the lead with Kevin Roy. Taylor already has five PGA Tour wins in his career.
But Taylor and Roy have some notable company near the top of the leaderboard. Ben Griffin, who made the US Ryder Cup team and is a finalist for the 2025 Player of the Year, is back at seven under. She is tied with rising star Chris Gotterup.
Betting favorite Russell Henley will start the second round three shots back at five under, while JJ Spaun enters Round 2 at four under.
You can watch the second round of the Sony Open on TV with the Golf Channel, which will air Friday night at 7 pm ET. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer group coverage starting at 12 pm ET on Friday.
