Golf and gambling have never been at the top of New York City’s long list.
Now those two artists are set to draw visitors to the same big apple property.
On Monday, the New York Gaming Commission granted a gaming license to Bally to build a Casino-Hotel in Ferry Point Park in the Bronx, a property owned by the time chosen by President Donald Trump’s company home. .
The development of Bally will be of particular interest to golfers given the $4 billion budget allowed and the hospitality that will revitalize the southern part of the course. The plans call for a Casino, a 23-story hotel with 500 rooms, a convention and event center, and retail space.

Ferry Point, which sits in the shadows of the whitestone bridge, is known for its New York City Skyline views and winding, winding streets that you’d expect to find in the Bronx rather than the Bronx. In 2022, this place was the site of the Aramco team series, the Sadi-Fedy Ladi-European Tour event, which was won by Lexi Thompson.
The first course was green for the first time – lit in 2000 by Rudolph Giuliani, with the intention of opening in 2003. But the environmental constraints and the financial budget were tortuous.
