Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann advises Salah on Serie A move

Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has been thrown into fresh uncertainty after a series of tense events fueled speculation about a possible January exit and an unlikely return to Serie A.
Despite remaining one of the most influential figures at the Reds, the 33-year-old Egyptian has found himself at the center of a growing saga surrounding his role, status and long-term future at Anfield.
The situation escalated following a public and emotional outburst after the game, with Salah suggesting he felt “thrown under the bus” by the club.
His comments raised eyebrows and immediately sparked controversy over his relationship with Liverpool’s management and coaching staff.
Mo Salah faces an uncertain future at Liverpool
Things appeared to take a turn for the worse when Salah was left out of Liverpool’s Champions League trip to Inter Milan last week, a decision that fueled speculation about internal rifts.
Since then, he has returned to the club and made an appearance against Brighton in the Premier League, where he provided an assist for the Reds.
Saudi sides have long admired the Liverpool talisman and are understood to be willing to offer lucrative contracts that would dwarf his current wages.
Beyond the uncertainty, former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has given his opinion on what could be the solution to the Salah saga.
Speaking to JeffBet, as reported by GOAL, former Reds player Hamann said:
“If Salah doesn’t want to accept that he won’t play, and he keeps talking about not being supported by the manager, he and the team must find a solution. That solution might be to go their separate ways. I don’t think Salah wants to go to Saudi Arabia because he turned down an offer last year. There will be European clubs who want him. The top teams in Spain, England and Italy will not be able to sign him. That league is known for bringing in experienced players and bringing them back to the top level. “Inter Milan have signed the same players over the years. I don’t see him joining Bayern Munich or the two Spanish giants. The top teams in England don’t need his jobs.”
Will Salah leave the Premier League next year?

Salah will continue to be linked with a move away from Anfield after recent developments.
The Saudi league, MLS and other European clubs will look to sign him in the coming months as uncertainty grows over his future at Liverpool.
Right now, the team’s priority should be to keep the player at least until the end of the season so that he can contribute to their goals this season.
Although the league may not be up to it at the moment, the Reds can still do well in the cup competitions and in the Champions League.
He has a contract at Anfield that runs until 2027 and if the Reds decide to offload him, they could get a good transfer fee for him, especially if the Saudi club makes a move as they are known to pay well to sign players from Europe’s top leagues.
