MOTOCADDY INTRODUCES THREE NEW REMOTE MODELS – Golf News

Motocaddy has strengthened its position at the forefront of hands-free golf technology with the launch of three remote-controlled electric carts for 2026.

The world’s leading electric trolley brand has launched the M7 GPS Remote, M7 Remote and ME Remote for golfers in the UK and Ireland, expanding its remote control offering at a time when the demand for hands free operation continues to increase.

According to Motocaddy, remote models accounted for 46 percent of its electric trolley sales last year, with remote sales up 44 percent overall.

Marketing Director Oliver Churcher said the new range offers game-changing features at a range of price points.

“These new trolleys take our remote control to the next level as we offer golfers game-changing features at different rates,” he said. “The new M7 GPS Remote is the world’s most advanced electric golf cart, with improved styling and a giant leap in GPS technology. Similarly, the new M7 Remote features a large screen with improved functionality, while the upgraded ME Remote brings award-winning remote technology to an entry-level price.”

At the top of the range sits the multi-award winning M7 GPS Remote, featuring fully integrated GPS with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display and over 40000 pre-loaded courses.

The model features high-performance GPS technology with full hole mapping, variable green view, center and back distances, drag-and-drop target programming and hazard information. Golfers also get smartphone alerts via Bluetooth, lifetime GPS mapping and super-fast Wi-Fi with wind updates.

New in 2026 is the ability to customize the GPS interface with shortcuts to preferred features. Users can choose between 2D and 3D mapping, including 3D hole flyover and panning, as well as portrait or landscape views with radial distance markers. Light or dark display modes, round and lost ball timers and a clock are also included.

The trolley is built using virtual reality, rapid prototyping and artificial intelligence technologies, and features a Click N Connect battery-free Lithium battery system that automatically powers up when folded. The retractable rear anti tip wheel can stay attached for folding.

The M7 GPS Remote will be available from March with an RRP of £1499.99.

The updated model includes a drive distance readout, cycle and lifetime, clock and cycle timer, and a new Cartlock code security feature. Golfers can switch between remote control modes and manage them and benefit from pause, resume and emergency stop functions.

As the best, Downhill Control, which automatically controls speed on slopes, and Adaptive Terrain Stability technology that monitors wheel speed and load to maintain tracking and stability in straight lines.

Dual swivel front wheels improve efficiency, while the Easilock bag on trolley connection system eliminates the need for a lower bag strap when used with a Motocaddy bag.
