NHL Injuries: Ducks, Avs, Blue Jackets, Oilers, Islanders, Rangers, Flyers, Lightning and Canucks

Kevin Woodley: It looks like Anaheim Ducks forward Troy Terry could return to the lineup tonight. He practiced with the team yesterday. He missed their last 10 games.
Pierre LeBrun of the Athletic: Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog had been skating by himself last week, but he joined his teammates for practice on Tuesday. It was the first time since the 4th of January that he had hit the boards hard and injured his upper body. Coach Jared Bednar:
“For Gabe, obviously, we hope he can come back and be part of the Olympics, and it looks like he’s trending there.”
Bednar did not rule out Landeskog playing with the Avs before the Olympic break.
NHL Rumors: Buffalo Sabers, and Calgary Flames
Craig Merz: Columbus Blue Jackets linebacker Denton Mateychuk returned to the lineup last night after missing the past six games with an upper back injury.
Tony Brar: Edmonton Oilers defenseman Mattias Ekholm is day-to-day and questionable tonight.
Stephen Rosner: New York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock is back in the lineup after missing the past two games with an upper back injury.

Pierre LeBrun of the Athletic: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point is still hoping to play for Team Canada at the Olympics, but he’s not 100 percent. He has been out since January 12 with a right knee injury. He is improving, and the coaching staff would like to see if he can get into the game with the Nyazi before the break.
The NHL: Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman has not ruled out playing in Sunday’s Stadium Series game against the Boston Bruins. He practiced wearing a non-team jersey yesterday for the first time since returning to IR on December 11.
NHL Rumors: Winnipeg Jets, and Utah Mammoth
“We’re making progress,” said coach Jon Cooper. “You know you’re still wearing a red jersey. It’s your first time participating with a full team, so those are the steps you have to take. But you’re definitely getting closer.”
Defender McDonagh is expected to return to tonight’s lineup. He has been out since December 22nd.
Randip Janda: Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander is dealing with an undiagnosed injury Tuesday night.
Brendan Batchelor: Absent from yesterday’s practice for the Canucks (for the last time due to illness) were Tyler Myers, Filip Hronek, Filip Chytil and Conor Garland.
