Joe McDonald: Calgary Flames forward Blake Coleman left last night’s game in the third period for safety reasons. Coach Ryan Huska said after the game that he didn’t think it was serious, but he didn’t have an update.
“I don’t have anything right now. I think he might be upset and it’s not something we wanted to push at the time.”
Pat Steinberg: Flames defender Zayne Parekh remains sidelined with a hamstring injury in the World Juniors semi-final.
Blackhawks Focus: Darren Pang indicated that Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard could be ready to return tonight.
