Arsenal are interested in a move for Brazilian talent Eduardo Conceição

Arsenal’s long-term recruitment strategy has taken them to South America once again, with reports from Brazil linking the club with Palmeiras youngster Eduardo Conceição.
According to UOL, Arsenal are interested in moving the youngster who has attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the world.
The Gunners are focusing on identifying potential players early, casting their net beyond Europe to secure future first-team options before competition heats up.
South America, in particular, has become a key area of interest, with Arsenal keen to replicate the success other top clubs have enjoyed by investing in emerging talent at the source.
Arsenal have reportedly held talks to sign Conceição
Arsenal were the first English club to officially contact Conceição, making initial checks to better understand his contract situation and long-term plans.
Those scouting moves reportedly progressed quickly, with a meeting held in London between the player’s representatives and Arsenal officials.
Although no deal is imminent at this stage, the talks are said to have clearly shown Arsenal’s strong interest.
Such early communication is in line with the club’s recent recruitment philosophy, which prioritizes relationships and gaining clarity before any transfer window pressure begins.
Conceição is causing chaos among the top clubs

Conceição is considered one of Palmeiras’ most promising academy products. Despite his young age, he is already competing above his natural age group, a marker often used by Brazilian clubs to identify top-level potential.
He featured in the Brasileirão Sub-17 tournament aged just 15 and later impressed in the prestigious Copinha tournament aged 16, a path followed by several Brazilian stars.
The Palmeiras are well aware of the growing attention surrounding their prospect.
As highlighted by Sports Witness, Conceição recently signed a new contract that contains a release clause of 100 million, the team retains 80 percent of his economic rights.

Club president Leila Pereira is said to believe Conceição could eventually follow the path of recent departures, such as Endrick, now at Real Madrid, and Estêvão, who joined Chelsea.
Arsenal are not alone. Several Premier League heavyweights, including Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle United, are also monitoring Conceição’s progress.
That growing list of applicants could make any future negotiations more difficult.
