The 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii begins Thursday with the first round at Waialae Country Club on the island of Honolulu. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the tournament on Thursday, including full Sony Open TV coverage, live stream details and Town 1 times.
How to watch the Sony Open on Thursday
The brand new PGA Tour season gets underway Thursday in Hawaii, and one of last season’s stars hopes to keep the momentum going Thursday.
That player is JJ Spaun. At No. 6, Spaun is one of the top-ranked players in the Sony Open field. But he is the only one to win a major tournament in 2025.
Spaun won the 2025 US Open at the treacherous Oakmont last summer. It was the 35-year-old’s second PGA Tour, and earned him a spot on the 2025 US Ryder Cup team.
Spaun will play the opening round alongside one of his Ryder Cup teammates: Collin Morikawa.
