Pride Of Golf Unveils ZERO TAPER Putter Grips – Golf News

Golf Pride has unveiled its latest putter grip innovation with the introduction of the ZERO TAPER, a new design intended to promote consistency, confidence and control on the green.
The world’s leading grip manufacturer says the new model is designed to improve hand placement and encourage even grip pressure, helping golfers balance the putter face more effectively.
ZERO TAPER will be available in stores and online from February 17th.
Designed for consistency and confidence
The defining feature of the ZERO TAPER is its compact shape, offering a familiar look and feel for players who prefer a non-sticky putter grip.
By ensuring that both hands feel the same sensation throughout the stroke, Golf Pride believes that the grip can help create a more synchronized and repeatable movement.
The deep side profile improves face awareness, providing clearer feedback that allows golfers to better feel and control the putter head.
Visual cues built into the hand placement of the grip guide, helping players return to the same setup time and time again.
The ergonomic horseshoe-shaped back creates a natural resting position for finger curls, while a consistent weight profile across all sizes maintains the putter sweet spot and improves overall stability during the stroke.
It is built on experience and experimentation
Using over seventy-five years of grip manufacturing expertise and extensive consumer testing, the ZERO TAPER has been developed to balance comfort and performance.
The grip is constructed using polyurethane, a material previously introduced in Golf Pride’s Reverse Taper putter grip range which was introduced twenty four years ago.
The polyurethane construction delivers a soft yet responsive feel, with traction features designed to accommodate a variety of grip styles.
The ZERO TAPER now joins the Reverse Taper as one of only two Golf Pride putter grips made using this material.
James Ledford, President of Golf Pride, said the new release builds directly on the success of its predecessor.
“Two years ago we introduced the Reverse Taper and it quickly became one of the best in the world.
With ZERO TAPER we build on that success by offering players who love consistent geometry a grip that meets their needs. Our mission is to create products that inspire confidence and help players of all skill levels perform at their best.

Color sizes and availability
The ZERO TAPER will be offered in medium and large sizes and will be available in black, blue and red color options to suit the tastes of different players.
The grip was conceived, designed and tested at Golf Pride’s Global Innovation Center in Pinehurst, North Carolina, which serves as a hub for global research, product development and product marketing.
Starting February 17th, ZERO TAPER will be available for purchase in-store and online through authorized retailers.
More information about the new grip and Golf Pride’s extensive twenty-six product range can be found on the company’s website and social media channels.
