Fabio Paratici’s signing from Tottenham shows just how good he is

Although his time at Tottenham was hampered by a ban imposed by FIFA, Fabio Paratici played a major role in shaping the Spurs team, both during his official career and later while working officially as a consultant.
In his first term as managing director of football, Paratici oversaw the rebuilding of a great club, bringing in a mix of proven experience and top young talent.
Even during his ban, he remained involved behind the scenes, contributing to recruitment discussions and long-term planning.
A number of Tottenham’s most powerful and important players have been signed either directly under Paratici or through his influence.

The signing of Tottenham has been linked to Fabio Paratici
Many of these signings have become first-team regulars or valuable assets, greatly increasing their market value and forming the backbone of Tottenham’s current squad.
Such is his level that Paratici was brought back as sports director even though the team has already appointed Johan Lange to the same position.
With Paratici now strongly linked with Fiorentina, Spurs could lose one of the most influential figures in their modern recruitment strategy.
