Wedges used by 2025’s top pros in SG: Around-the-Green

Wedges can be as personal as putters and looking at the ones used by the top pros at SG: Around-the-Green in 2025, it’s clear that there are many different ways to get the ball closer to the hole.
While one brand, Titleist’s Vokey Wedges, dominates this list with six of the top 10, and each of the top 4 players, there is one repeat grind among the six lob wedges. It’s no surprise to see both Patton Kizzire and Russell Henley use the SM10 T-Grind in their lob wedges, which is one of Vokey’s most popular grinds on the PGA Tour.
But among the top 10, A+, A, L and K*-grinds are also part of the lob wedge options, featuring a variety of different delivery patterns and key shots among the PGA Tour’s best wedge players this season.
Most interestingly, all of those grinds would be considered low, or mid-bounce offerings by Vokey and only the T-grind is available in Vokey’s retail lineup.
Another top 10 was rounded out by three Cleveland wedge users, and one Callaway wedge user.

Titleist Vokey SM10 Raw Custom Wedge
For every shot, every lie, every lesson, there is a balance to your swing. Finding the right grind to suit your swing and playing conditions will give you the best turf interaction, contact and shot performance. Master craftsman Bob Vokey has spent decades crafting, developing and improving his proven driving range to fit players of all levels. Anyone can make a wedge, but it takes a master to turn a functional piece of technology into a mastering tool. Bob’s six tour-proven grinds are designed to provide maximum craftsmanship, versatility and consistency, all carefully developed over years of working with the world’s best players. PROGRESSIVE CENTER OF GRAVITY SM9 features a progressive center of gravity (CG) across all lofts, resulting in smooth ball travel, accuracy and forgiveness. Using sharp top lines and varying pipe lengths, the Vokey R&D team has raised the CG height at high altitudes, promoting a low, highly controlled flight. SM9’s patented Spin Milled Grooves are meticulously designed with a new cutting process to increase roundness and durability. The process begins by cutting the face down with a high speed saw. Then every groove is cut individually based on the surface and the end; low lofts (46°-54°) are designed with narrow, deep grooves, while high lofts (56°-62°) have wide, shallow grooves. Heat treatment is applied to the impact surface which replicates the firmness of the pitch without affecting the feel, making it a tough golf club. The process only ends when every Vokey wedge is tested for high quality and 100% performance.

Cleveland RTZ Custom Wedge
The new RTZ Wedges are made with Z-Alloy, a completely new alloy formula that powers a passive design approach for incredible feel, better durability, and more consistency in our best performing Tour Wedges yet. Also, there’s a new ADAPT grind that features full-face grooves, giving the RTZ Wedges more flexibility than ever before. Z-Alloy Z-Alloy is a brand new alloy with a better feel. It’s soft, light, and incredibly durable. It gives the RTZ Wedges a superior feel, better forgiveness, and more consistency. In RTZ Tour Rack Wedges, the corrosion-resistant Z-Alloy construction ensures long-lasting, like-new performance. HydraZip HydraZip is a unique face blast system with laser etched lines designed to maximize spin performance in wet conditions. This technology is dynamically adjusted by groups of lofts, helping to balance circulation across lofts, while increasing circulation in adverse conditions. ZipCore This low-density core technology replaces heavy materials in the heel and hosel area with lightweight, low-density, vibration-dampening. This proprietary core allows us to move the Center of Gravity closer to where you hit the ball, while simultaneously increasing MOI. UltiZip UltiZip’s sharp grooves cut through grass and debris on contact, while deep grooves help create space for grass, sand, dirt, or water to clear the impact area, giving RTZ Wedges stronger, more consistent from the fairway, rough, or bunker.
